Kidderminster Harriers have officially confirmed ex-Redditch United manager Gary Whild has joined the Blue Square Premier club as assistant to manager Steve Burr.
Whild left the Blue Square North side at the end of the season after five years at the club.
"He has done an unbelievable job at Redditch and has a knack of knowing young players who are keen to achieve."
Burr said: "I spoke to Gary about a month ago about the possibility of him coming here and I am delighted to get him.

Whild began his managerial career with Stourport Swifts as assistant to Rod Brown before the pair switched to Redditch United, where they guided the club into the Blue Square North.
When Brown departed Valley Stadium in the 2005/06 season Whild took up the challenge of keeping Redditch away from relegation danger, and this season they finished one place above the drop zone.
Meanwhile, striker Robbie Matthews has been placed on the transfer list after one season at Aggborough.
Matthews, a former Salisbury City player, joined last summer on a two-year contract and netted nine goals in thirty-nine appearances.
