Midfielder Peter Doran has been released by Blue Square Premier club Altrincham after turning down the terms offered to him for next season.
The 21-year-old, who is the twin brother of ex-Caernarfon Town, Connah`s Quay Nomads' and Rhyl defender Phil Doran, joined the Robins in January from Principality Welsh Premier side Technogroup Welshpool after scoring ten goals from fifty-six appearances in a domestic league career that also took in Caernarfon and GAP Connah's Quay.
Despite an excellent campaign, the debt-free Moss Lane outfit continues to operate within a prudent financial strategy and manager Graham Heathcote says: "The budget has been returned to what it was at the outset last season.
"People may think we've got four lots of wages available, with the lads who have left, but that's not the case.
"Even the figure from the start of last season was a reduction on the season before, because we lost a substantial amount from the demise of Setanta."
