There was a shock for promotion-chasing Oxford United on Good Friday afternoon as Ram Marwa`s second half brace dealt a blow to their automatic promotion hopes as Hayes & Yeading United claimed a 2-1 victory that probably secures their own future in
The U`s went into the game needing a win after being overtaken by Luton Town earlier in the week but were unable to overcome a spirited performance from the hosts.
Oxford`s cause wasn`t helped when striker Matthew Green was sent-off for a second bookable offence after just 21 minutes.
The dismissal seemingly had little effect as James Constable`s twentieth goal of the season put the visitors ahead just before the break.
The hosts responded well, equalising when Marwa headed in Dale Binns' cross immediately after the interval.
And the comeback was complete after 65 minutes when Marwa grabbed a second from just inside the area.
Goals from Chris Giles and Ben Adelsbury eased Salisbury City's relegation fears and piled more misery on fellow strugglers Ebbsfleet United.
Aaron Martin smashed City ahead from close range when Matty Tubbs flicked on loanee Chris Shepherd's left-wing cross.
Magno Vieira deservedly drew Fleet level 37 seconds after the restart when he outpaced Giles and fired home.
But Giles headed in Sean Clohessy's corner to make it 2-1 after 66 minutes and 5 minutes later Adelsbury's stunning 35-yard strike sealed the win.
The result sees Salisbury move six points clear of the drop zone and keeps Fleet second bottom, three points away from safety.
