Grays Athletic manager Julian Dicks has made his first signing since joining Blue Square Premier club.
Dicks has bought in Norwegian striker Petar Rnkovic, and international clearance was gained at the final hour to allow him to be available for Tuesday night's game against Stevenage Borough in which he scored in the 1-1 draw at Broadhall Way.
Rnkovic has played in numerous positions during his career and was a senior goalkeeper before securing himself as a striker,
He debuted at senior level for Åssiden IF of 2 Division, He was then loaned to Icelandic KS where he scored eight goals in thirteen matches.
He got a contract with Hønefoss BK at the end of the 2002 season, and was there until the 2004 season, and played a total of fifty matches for the first division team.
In 2005 he stepped down to play with Mjøndalen IF in the 3 Division due to family commitments where he scored fifty-two goals in twenty-five matches!
He was wanted by several clubs, but chose to join Strømsgodset IF, where he made a total of fourteen appearances and scored five goals in 2006 when they won the Adeccoligaen.
In 2007 he signed for Randaberg IL.
