Blue Square Premier club Grays Athletic have announced that Kenny Brown has joined as Julian Dicks assistant-manager.
Brown is currently based in Spain and is managing CD Javea. Vice-chairman Andy Swallow flew to Spain earlier today to secure his signature.
Brown will be managing his final game with CD Javea on Sunday before he meets up with the Grays squad on Monday for training before joining the bench on Tuesday evening against Stevenage Borough.
Brown is a seasoned professional whose career has included Plymouth Argyle, West Ham United, Huddersfield Town (loan), Reading (loan), Southend United (loan), Crystal Palace (loan), Birmingham City, Millwall, Gillingham, Kingstonian, Tilbury and Barry Town.
He spent some time in Spain with FC Torrevieja before retiring from playing football.
