Farsley Bring in Hirst

Blue Square North club Farsley Celtic have signed full back Tom Hirst after a period on trial at Throstle Nest.
The right back was on the books at Bradford City as a youngster and was a trainee with Rotherham United and has also had a spell at Hull City.
He signed professional terms aged 18 with Blue Square Premier side York City in September 2008.
However, in January 2009 Farsley`s league rivals Harrogate Town signed Hirst on a trial basis that led to being offered terms until the end of that season.
