Maidenhead Bring in Bernard
08 February 2010 18:31:00

Blue Square South club Maidenhead United have snapped up midfielder/forward Adam Bernard after he had been released by Zamaretto League Premier Division side Hemel Hempstead Town last week.

Bernard, 21, is a lively wide player who is equally at home up front. He was originally with Brentford and then signed for Zamaretto Division One South & West side Uxbridge in September 2008 from Ryman League Division One South side Leatherhead.

He switched to Hemel in March 2009 and was a regular for the Tudors until being part of Gary Phillips` cull for financial reasons last week.

Maidenhead have signed another `new` player. However, this one happens to be 45 years old!

Manager Johnson Hippolyte, the former Chesham United, Hampton, Aldershot Town, Dulwich Hamlet, Chertsey Town, Yeading, Wealdstone, Chalfont St Peter, Uxbridge and Hounslow striker, has registered himself in case of `severe` emergencies!
