Blue Square North club Farsley Celtic keeper Piotr Skiba is returning to Poland this week to take up a full-time contract with third division outfit OKS 1945 Olsztyn.
Skiba has been in the country since the summer of 2006 and has enjoyed spells at Bradford Park Avenue, Ossett Town and Guiseley along with the Celts.
Skiba's most 'memorable' moment in the country came in November when he accidently threw the ball into the back of his own net against AFC Telford United.
Skiba admitted the opportunity to return home was too good to miss. “I’m going back and will back by the weekend because I have spoken with my former club in Poland," he said.
“I know the goalkeeping coach over there and he asked to me come over.
“It is a good chance for me to return to full-time football as that is the reason why I came to England."
Skiba's replacement will be understudy Josh Bell, who made four appearances in September when Skiba attended a wedding in his homeland.
