Oxford United manager Chris Wilder has won the Blue Square Premier `Manager of the Month` award for August.
United sit unbeaten at the top of the table after seven games during the month, winning five and drawing two.
Three of those victories came against fellow promotion chasers Stevenage, AFC Wimbledon and away at last season’s third placed team Histon.
In the Blue Square South the award goes to Basingstoke Town manager Frank Gray.
The Basingstoke boss got a narrow verdict over Dover Athletic boss Andy Hessenthaler with both sides sitting level on points at the top of the table. Gray’s side finished eighteenth last season but have already picked up valuable wins at Havant & Waterlooville and Hampton & Richmond Borough as they put in an early challenge for a play-off spot.
Paul Cox from Eastwood Town has won the award in the Blue Square North.
