After a relaxing summer, the York City first-team squad have returned to work and have lined up some rather unusual pre-season training for Wednesday (29th July).
In anticipation of the first day of the season, the team will tackle Aerial Extreme’s zip lines, wobbly bridges and climbing walls as part of their new, unconventional routine.
The outdoor adventure ropes course will become a training camp for team building and muscle honing as the squad warm up for their first Blue Square Premier game against Oxford United on Saturday, 8th August.
Site manager Kate Hewson said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming York City to Aerial Extreme. Our course is very popular with sports teams wanting to improve fitness and build on their teamwork.
“It’s certainly a fun alternative to gruelling circuits, and provides a great opportunity for team building.”
