 
            Kidderminster Harriers` manager Mark Yates is still adamant that striker Lee Hughes will not be re-signed by the Blue Square Premier club - despite playing for Harriers.
The former West Brom star made a surprise start in the pre-season friendly at Stourport Swifts last night, getting 45 minutes under his belt in a 4-1 win for Harriers.
Hughes has been training at his first club - where he is still their record sale - as he sorts out his future for next season, after turning down a move to Coca-Cola League Two Notts County last week.
But Yates continues to insist that the player is financially out of the club’s reach.
Another striker used by Harriers was former West Brom youngster Rob Elvins, who is a free agent after his release from Aldershot Town this summer.
The 22-year-old did his chances of a permanent deal no harm by scoring a spectacular overhead kick in the second-half.
But triallist defender Gavin Caines looks to be gone, after turning out for Oxford United in a friendly on Tuesday night.
