Luton Town continued their impressive start to the new Blue Square Bet Premier season with a comfortable win over ten-man Fleetwood Town at Highbury.
The Hatters got off to a great start as Matthew Barnes-Homer slotted home after good work from Claude Gnakpa in the 14th minute.
Gnakpa then added a second on 22 minutes with an individual effort.
Fleetwood centre back Adam Linwood was sent-off for a second bookable offence just before half time.
Ian Craney missed Fleetwood's best chance, before substitute Tom Craddock headed in a late third for Luton with a couple of minutes remaining.
AFC Wimbledon beat Tamworth at Kingsmeadow, courtesy of a brace from Danny Kedwell and one by Sammy Moore.
Moore gave the home side the lead after 37 minutes.
Second half strikes from Kedwell in the 60th and 79th minutes then wrapped up the game for Terry Brown`s men.
Simon Weatherstone's late penalty gave Eastbourne Borough a thrilling win at Priory Lane against Wrexham.
Richard Pacquette headed Eastbourne's opener after 1o minutes but Chris Smith replied 5 minutes later before Marvin Andrews headed Wrexham in front 5 minutes after that.
Gary Elphick flicked on a long throw on the stroke of half time to level and Weatherstone put Boro ahead again with a penalty after a Smith handball 7 minutes later.
Smith turned in Andy Morrell's cross for Wrexham on 76 minutes but another handball call saw Weatherstone win it from the spot in stoppage time.
Mansfield Town produced a stunning turnaround by scoring twice in 3 second half minutes to sink Kidderminster Harriers and move to fourth spot in the table.
An 8th minute Tom Shaw penalty after Chris Smith had fouled Chris McPhee looked like making it Kidderminster's day.
But Mansfield introduced Luke Medley at the break and he levelled in the 54th minute before Paul Connor finished from 12 yards to put the Stags ahead on 57 minutes.
And Rob Duffy sealed things in the last minute when he collected Medley's pass.
Grimsby Town fell to their first defeat of the season as Hayes & Yeading United held out for all three points at Blundell Park.
Hayes took the lead after 19 minutes through a long-range effort from midfielder Jamie Hand which gave Grimsby keeper Kenny Arthur no chance.
Bradley Pritchard doubled the visitors' lead in the 69th minute.
Alan Connell netted a last-minute consolation goal for the hosts with a left-footed strike from 25 yards.
Former Kettering Town manager Mark Cooper, now boss at Darlington, received a warm welcome from the home fans just before kick-off.
There were few clear-cut chances in a scrappy game spoiled by a gusty wind.
Serge Makofo shot wide for the hosts and Paul Furlong and Ashley Westwood also sent headers just off target after Gary Smith had headed straight at Nathan Abbey from Liam Hatch's cross.
That was as good as it got for the first half but Darlington almost took the lead early in the second half when Luke Graham almost headed into his own net after a cross from the left caused all sorts of confusion.
Graham headed wide from a corner at the other end and both sides rang the changes soon after as the game continued to be poor with Martin Smith coming on for his Poppies debut.
Lee Harper threw the dice by putting Moses Ashikodi on for his first action since having knee surgery over the summer.
But it made very little difference as the game remained poor with virtually no goalmouth action.
The Poppies finally created a decent opening when Smith's free kick was headed back across goal by John Dempster but there were no takers as Darlington scrambled it away.
The visitors almost snatched a winner when Abbey tipped away Ian Miller's stoppage-time strike but that was as close as they came.
Peter Till came off the bench to score a late equaliser and snatch a point for York City against Bath City at Twerton Park.
The home side hit the post through Adam Connolly before taking the lead through Adie Harris' stunning 30-yard strike on 38 minutes.
However, they were pegged back before half time when Michael Gash headed in Chris Carruthers' cross.
Lee Phillips restored Bath's lead on 66 minutes when he converted Marc Canham's cross but Till's 81st minute strike from inside the area denied the home side victory.
Steve Masterton's free kick gave ambitious and big-spending Crawley Town their first win of the season over Altrincham at Moss Lane.
One of several new recruits, Matty Tubbs, made an early impression for the visitors, forcing a save from Altrincham's Stuart Coburn.
Masterton finally made the vital breakthrough for Crawley in the 62nd minute when he curled his free kick from 20 yards into the top corner.
Altrincham struggled to make an impact in the game and despite a late rally were unable to find an equaliser.
Ian Herring missed a late penalty as Forest Green Rovers could only manage a home draw with Gateshead.
The home side took the lead on 10 minutes when Reece Styche fired home from just inside the area.
Gary Mulligan equalised for the visitors midway through the second half when he headed in from close range.
Forest Green had a chance to win the game late on when Phil Turnbull fouled Styche in the area but Herring missed the resultant penalty.
Cambridge United dominated and hit the woodwork twice but were unable to find the breakthrough against Southport at the Abbey Stadium.
Adam Marriott had the best chance of the first half but his shot was saved by Southport keeper Tony McMillan.
The hosts went closer after the break with a vicious 25-yard Conal Platt strike thundering against the bar and Sam Ives also rattling the woodwork.
The visitors' best effort was an Alan Moogan volley which was well saved by U's keeper Simon Brown.
Two goals in 7 second half minutes sent Rushden & Diamonds crashing to another away defeat, this time at Holker Street against Barrow.
Diamonds` skipper Jamie Stuart was sent-off for conceding a penalty which allowed Jason Walker to double his tally following a superb chip over Dale Roberts.
That broke the deadlock for Barrow as the FA Trophy holders – who had lost both of
their opening games – picked up their first points of the campaign.
Diamonds had a lucky escape on 3 minutes as Roberts parried Jason Walker's drive and Marc Goodfellow hit the foot of the post.
Dominic Green and Max Porter curled over long-range free kicks before a series of bookings ensured a stop-start opening period.
Barrow joint-manager Darren Sheridan was fortunate to escape a second yellow card and his side took advantage when Walker put them 2-0 up while Diamonds were reduced to ten-men.
Managerless Histon came from two goals down to grab a 2-2 draw with Newport County at Spytty Park.
The home side were two goals to the good as early as the 18th minute, courtesy of Danny Rose and Robbie Matthews.
But the Stutes refused to throw in the towel as Romone McCrae netted in the 29th minute and Erkan Okay found the back of the net in the 64th to earn the visitors a point.
