It’s the third round of fixtures in the Blue Square Bet Premier on Saturday and title favourites Luton Town travel to Fleetwood Town where they look good at 6/5 to make it three wins on the bounce.

Newly-promoted Fleetwood have started solidly but face a stern test against a quality Hatters side, comfortable winners at Kettering Town during the week, and the away win looks like the bet of the weekend in this division.

Matthew Barnes-Homer has started the season on fire for Luton with four goals in his first two games. Back him to score first at 11/2 with the insurance of unlimited places each-way at Blue Square.

Another of the sides expected to be right up there in the title race is Grimsby Town, relegated last season but quickly into their stride with four points from two games this term.

Grimsby opened their account with a win at big spending Crawley Town and today face Hayes & Yeading who were thumped at Eastbourne during the week. Back the Mariners at 4/9 for the home win, while Grimsby -1 on Blue Square’s handicap market also looks very good against a side set for a long, hard season.

Eastbourne Borough will be buzzing after putting five past Hayes & Yeading United this week but face a far tougher test with Wrexham’s visit this afternoon. Dean Saunders will be looking for a big reaction from his side after a surprising defeat at Forest Green Rovers and the away win looks like the way to go at 7/5.

In the Blue Square Bet North, Alfreton Town have started on fire after last season’s play-off heartache. Back them to inflict more pain on a poor Hyde United side at 8/11. Stafford Rangers should have too much for Guiseley at home and look a decent bet at 5/4.

Havant & Waterlooville are favourites for the Blue Square Bet South title and they should be backed at 8/13 to maintain their 100% start against Welling United on Saturday.

Braintree Town have also started brilliantly and face a tricky trip to St Albans City on Saturday – back the Essex boys to prevail at a tasty-looking 13/10.
