Nicholls Makes Magpies Return

Midfielder Ashley Nicholls has rejoined Blue Square Bet South club Maidenhead United, twelve months after leaving.
Nicholls departed for rivals Bishop`s Stortford but the move did not work out and following loan spells at Newport County and Eastleigh he has returned to York Road.
Nicholls originally signed for the Magpies in the summer of 2008 and was virtually ever present in his first season as he captained the side to a best ever finish of sixth and won the 2009 Players' Player of the Year award.
Twenty-nine-year-old Nicholls started his career at Ipswich Town and went on to play for Darlington, Rushden & Diamonds, Canvey Island, Grays Athletic, Cambridge United and Boston United.
