Mansfield Town have confirmed that chief executive Stewart Rickersey has left the Blue Square Premier club.
A Stags` spokesman said Rickersey and operations manager Sharon Rickersey left Field Mill after their positions were made redundant.
He said the club would make no further comment on the issue.
Mansfield were bought by local businessmen Andrew Perry, Steve Middleton and Andrew Saunders in June 2008.
That deal brought controversial owner Keith Haslam's fifteen-year spell in charge to an end.
Businessman and Stags` fan Steve Hymas joined the board of directors in January.
