Boro Make a `Big` Impact
10 March 2010 12:53:00

Eastbourne Borough are very much a club at the heart of the community.

And they have made a big impact in Eastbourne town centre with the unveiling of a six metres-x-three metres advertising site promoting the Blue Square Premier club.

The site, in a prime location, on the corner of Ashford Road and Cavendish Place was donated by insurance brokers John F. Whippy and Co who have foregone the £2,000 annual rental for the space to help promote Borough.

Vinyl Designs produced and erected the high quality board free of charge by working on it in their own time at weekends and in the evening.

They will also be updating the fixtures panel which at the moment is advertising the next home BSP game at Priory Lane against Grays Athletic on Saturday, March 20th.

Said Boro`s commercial manager Lorna Gosling: "We are delighted to have acquired such a prominent town centre presence and this was only possible thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm forBorough of John F. Whippy and Co. and Vinyl Designs."
