Supporters` Fund Boost for Boro
28 January 2010 09:34:00

Eastbourne Borough Supporters Club presented a cheque for £3,500 to Eastbourne Borough Football Club at Langney Sports after the Cambridge United FA Trophy on Tuesday night.

These funds were raised by the Supporters Club over last season and due to the economic climate and lack of home gate revenue in recent weeks the Supporters` Club Committee have taken the decision to release the money to support the Football Club in these testing times.

Eastbourne club chairman Len Smith: "We are most appreciative of this donation and its timing and thank all those involved in the raising of the £3,500."

Boro have had only one home league game since December 5th and the next is not until February 6th when Wrexham are the visitors to Priory Lane.
