Blue Square South club Braintree Town have announced the signing of defender Ashley Dumas from Ryman League Premier Division side Billericay Town.
The 22-year-old has been on the books at Leyton Orient, Gillingham, Burnham Ramblers and Walton & Hersham.
He was a summer 2008 capture for Billericay from East Thurrock United.
Dumas (pictured) is an attacking left-back who can also play in midfield.
A quality defender who can also deliver crosses he showed great form for the Blues, attracting attention from higher league clubs, including the Iron earlier this season.
Also signing as cover for the Iron is well-travelled 31-year-old forward Rikki Burbridge.
Burbridge has had spells with the likes of Billericay Town, Waltham Abbey,Tilbury, East Thurrock United and Hornchurch and has most recently been playing for Molten Spartan South Midlands Leaguers Brimsdown Rovers.
