Blue Square Premier club Grays Athletic have signed right-sided defender Jack Hunt from Coca-Cola League One side Huddersfield Town.
Hunt, who can also play in midfield, is joining Grays for one month to gain valuable first-team experience at a good level of football.
The 19-year-old Academy graduate has twice been an unused substitute for Lee Clark's first-team this season, but will now continue his development under Grays manager Julian Dicks.
This now means that Huddersfield have first-year professionals Hunt, Leigh Franks (Fleetwood Town) and Spencer Harris (Curzon Ashton) all out on loan, alongside second-year Academy scholar James Spencer (Northwich Victoria).
"I've stressed that these lads need to be playing competitive football," Huddersfield manager Lee Clark explained. "Going on loan to play competitive matches helps bridge the gap between youth team football and first-team and allows us to see how the players are developing. This gives us insights that we don't get from reserve team football.
"They need to be part of a side where winning matters and now they will be. Jack is going to a team playing at a very good standard.”
