Coca-Cola League Two side Shrewsbury Town`s transfer-listed striker Nathan Elder has moved to Blue Square Premier club AFC Wimbledon on loan until the end of the season.
Originally with his home-town side Hornchurch, Elder also played for Aveley before coming to the fore with Billericay Town.
Elder joined Brighton in January 2007 after the Seagulls paid £10,000 for his services after a run of thirty-six goals in twenty-six games for the New Lodge outfit.
He then joined Brentford a year later for £35,000 after finding first-team opportunites very difficult on the south coast.
After ten goals from forty-four matches, Elder moved on to Shrewsbury in August 2009 on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee but was transfer-listed in November 2009 with manager Paul Simpson unhappy with a performance in the 1-0 FA Cup defeat at home to Blue Square South side Staines Town.
The Dons have completed the paperwork in order for Elder to be available to face Mansfield Town on Saturday.
Elder, who signed a three-year deal with the Shrews in the summer, made just eleven starts at the New Meadow, scoring two goals.
