Striker Tim Sills has joined Blue Square Premier club Stevenage for an undisclosed fee on an 18-month contract from Coca-Cola League Two side Torquay United.
The 30-year-old, who has scored four goals for the Gulls this season, has an option of an extension to the deal signed.
A former England semi-professional international, Sills began his career as a trainee with Millwall and then had spells with Camberley Town, Basingstoke Town, Kingstonian, Aldershot Town, Oxford United and Hereford before joining Torquay in June 2007.
In his two seasons at Torquay he made over 100 appearances scoring over forty goals and his strength and aerial ability will provide Boro manager Graham Westley with even greater options as his team push for one of the two promotion places this season.
