Blue Square South club Maidenhead United`s Will Hendry has ended weeks of speculation by moving to Blue Square Premier outfit AFC Wimbledon.
Hendry joined the Magpies in September after a move into the Football League to Dagenham & Redbridge from Hayes & Yeading United went sour.
He went onto play a key role in kick starting Maidenhead's season. His arrival coincided with the Magpies going on a seven match unbeaten run which lifted them off the bottom of the Blue Square South and into the top half of the table. He scored six times and won the Blue Square South October player of the month award.
His presence at York Road was always intended to be a temporary one and scouts flocked to games to size the attacking midfielder up.
Eventually Wimbledon beat off competition from Woking and Havant & Waterlooville for his signature.
