Snow Clear
15 January 2010 15:12:00

Bromley are delighted to confirm that the pitch at Hayes Lane has been cleared of snow and tomorrow's Blue Square South game against Maidenhead United should now go ahead.

The Club would like to thank its staff, players and supporters who have worked extremely hard to ensure that tomorrow afternoon's fixture has every chance of taking place.

Staff and supporters spent Tuesday and Wednesday clearing 5-a-side courts allowing as close to normal service to resume on both courts.

Staff and supporters along with half of the academy squad then turned their attention to the playing surface on Thursday morning and by the evening almost 50% of the pitch was cleared of snow. The first team reported for training and even took time out to remove what snow remained from one half.

Friday saw staff and supporters work tirelessly to remove the rest of the snow from the pitch. This was achieved by lunchtime and attention now turns to the visit of Maidenhead United tomorrow.

Once again the Club would like to say a huge thanks to its staff, supporters and volunteers who gave up their time to help make tomorrow possible.
