Richard Butler has left Staines Town to join Blue Square South rivals Bromley.
The 24-year-old started his career at Ashford Town (Middx) before signing for AFC Wimbledon in 2004.
After a move to St Albans City he joined Staines in February 2008, and finished the promotion-clinching 2008/09 season as the club’s top scorer.
A spokesman for the Swans said: “The club was alerted by the player, following the appropriate etiquette from Bromley, and it must be said that the financial offer from the Kent club was a classic case of one that could not be refused by our player.”
