Bromley’s scheme members were given the opportunity to travel to Wembley Stadium last week for a behind the scenes tour of the national stadium thanks to the support of local company, Allenby Coach Hire.
Both the children and staff who made the trip enjoyed it thoroughly and were rewarded with lovely weather.
The behind-the-scenes tour allowed the children to visit the changing rooms, warm-up area, Royal Box, press conference room, dug-outs and tunnel.
The children who attended also got the chance to get their hands on the replica FA Cup and have a photo taken with it which will be passed on to the children’s parents in the next week or so.
The trip was made possible thanks to the support of Allenby Coach Hire, who helped make the trip affordable for the schemes participants.
Football in the Community Officer Del Parnham said: “We have used Allenby Coach Hire for the past few years now and they have supported the Club from the first team right down to our Football in the Community set up, the Wembley trip really would not have been possible without their support, so we would like to thank Allenby for their loyal support of the club.”
The club’s Football in the Community scheme now prepares for its next soccer camp on Monday, 26th October and its up and coming `After School Clubs`.
