Only one game survived the conditions on Saturday and that was on the Fylde coast where Fleetwood Town moved into second place after coming back from a goal behind to beat Stafford Rangers at Highbury.
A reasonable pre-Christmas crowd of 1,120 saw Rangers take a 12th minute lead through Bobby Wilson.
And it took Fleetwood until the hour-mark to pull back on terms with Jamie Milligan the scorer.
And when it was looking as though Rangers would earn a valuable point, Milligan popped up with the winner for Micky Mellon`s side with less than 3 minutes remaining.
