Saturday`s Blue Square South Review...
12 December 2009 17:26:00

There were just two league matches in Blue Square South on Saturday due to the FA Trophy and they saw good home wins for St Albans City and Staines Town.

The Saints entertained a Bromley side looking to move to within a couple of points of the play-off places. However, it was the home side who went ahead after 28 mintes through Gary Cohen.

Luton Town triallist Jonathan O`Donnell made sure of victory for Steve Castle`s side with a second 5 minutes from time.

Meanwhile, at Wheatsheaf Park Staines shook off their FA Cup hangover by increasing Weston-super-Mare`s relegation worries with a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Elliott Onochie gave the Swans the boost of an early 2nd minute lead that Dean Thomas doubled on 37 minutes.

And less than 3 minutes later it was game over as Onochie grabbed his second and Staines` third.
