Blue Square South club Eastleigh have confirmed the signing of Matt Day from Zamaretto League Division One South & West side Hungerford Town.

Day, 22, is a versatile young defender who has played for Oxford United in the Blue Square Premier. He was previously a youth player at Portsmouth.

Meanwhile, Warren Goodhind has left the Spitfires to pursue `other interests`, James Taylor has moved to AFC Totton and goalkeeper Steve Arnold has now signed for Coca-Cola League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.

Arnold, who was originally Norwich City`s youth and reserve team keeper moved to Eastleigh in early November from Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic.

Arnold (pictured) had previously played for Boreham Wood in the Ryman League and spent some time as a youth with Arsenal before moving to Carrow Road.
