Oxford United stayed eight points clear in the Blue Square Premier after seeing off a strong challenge from Crawley Town at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday night.
Adam Chapman gave the home side the lead after 20 minutes with a fine free kick from the edge of the area. But, just 6 minutes later Crawley levelled from ex-Oxford striker Jefferson Louis's deflected free kick.
On 66 minutes Steven Kinniburgh lobbed Crawley keeper Simon Rayner to make it 2-1 before Jack Midson added the third 8 minutes from time.
