Blue Square North club Droylsden have signed midfielder Kevin Leadbetter, who was recently released by league rivals Fleetwood Town.
Leadbetter left Fleetwood by mutual consent.
The midfielder has recently completed a one-month load period with UniBond League Premier Division side Skelmersdale United.
Leadbetter signed for Fleetwood in May 2008 from Skelmersdale and prior to that scored fourteen goals for Burscough in their UniBond Premier promotion-winning season of 2006/07.
The highlight of his Town career was scoring and away hat trick at Gainsborough Trinity in October 2008 - a game Fleetwood won 4-3.
