St Albans City had a wasted journey to Sussex on Wednesday night when their Blue Square South meeting with Lewes was abandoned due to fog just prior to the start of the second half.
The first bout of fog came and went just before the start of the first half but when it enveloped the Dripping Pan midway through the half, the referee had little option but to call a premature halt to proceedings.
