Graham Drury, manager of Blue Square Bet North club Corby Town, has signed his main target man, striker Ben Mackey from Zamaretto League Premier Division side Brackley Town.
Mackey came through the Coventry City Academy before becoming their youngest ever player to play in the Football League aged just 16.
He has also played for Irish side Linfield before moving on to Leamington where he scored an impressive fifty-seven goals in ninety-five starts.
He moved to Brackley in the summer of 2008 and ended 2009/10 as the Northamptonshire side`s top scorer.
Drury said: "Ben has been someone I have wanted to sign for a long time and at last it has come about. I think he will be great with Steve Diggin and is a prolific scorer himself.
“We still need one further striker and I have that person in mind but we have still to agree terms.
“Whatever happens I am a happy man tonight having finally got Ben to join us."
