Harriers` Youngster Joins Steelmen
01 February 2010 17:28:00

Blue Square Premier club Kidderminster Harriers` defender Liam Dolman is set to move out on loan to Blue Square North side Corby Town for the next month.

The 22-year-old former Northampton Town player made just nine first-team appearances at Aggborough since his move in the summer.

A deal has been agreed to allow Dolman to move to play-off chasing Corby where he is due to meet up with his new team-mates later this week.

"I had a good chat with Liam on Saturday about going out on loan and getting some games and I think it will do him the world of good," manager Steve Burr said.

"As soon as I mentioned that to him he was more than ready for it and that is very pleasing from an attitude point of view.

"That shows me he has the right kind of mindset - he's going to a very good club for a month and we'll see how we go.

"Liam is a Northampton lad as well so, location wise, it is good for him and as far as I'm concerned I want Corby to be ringing me up asking if they can keep him because that will mean he's doing his job.

"I'll get to see him while he's there and we can assess him as he goes over the month."
