Motors Bring in Bathurst

Blue Square North club Vauxhall Motors have signed big striker Jonathan Bathurst from league rivals Southport.
Bathurst signed `Port from UniBond League Division One North neighbours Skelmersdale United in late October after Skem had brought him in from Vodkat North West Counties League side AFC Liverpool in November 2008.
This big, strapping, old fashioned-type centre forward, he played only a handful of games for Skem last season and spent the latter half of the season on loan to Ashton Athletic where he scored six goals in ten outings.
However, he took the eye in pre-season and was a regular in Skelmersdale`s first-team this season until being snapped up by `Port.
