Cash Boost for Gateshead on Novak

Striker Lee Novak has completed fifteen games for Huddersfield Town this season following his move from Blue Square Premier club Gateshead which will invoke the second instalment of the 21-year-old's transfer fee.

Gateshead received an initial �50,000 down payment from Huddersfield for Novak who scored twenty-eight goals in thirty-eight games in his one season at the International Stadium.

The total fee was �150,000 - comfortably the biggest transfer in North East non-League football - with the two extra �50,000 instalments dependent on fifteen and thirty appearances for the Terriers.

Novak has already made a big impression at the Galpharm Stadium starting five games, including the last three, and has scored two goals.
