Blue Square Premier club Gateshead have completed their second loan signing in two days with attacking Scunthorpe United left-sided player Peter Winn added to the squad to face Chester City on Saturday.
The 20-year-old came off the bench for the last three games of Scunthorpe's Coca-Cola Championship campaign in 2007/08, but did not feature for the Iron last season.
Winn, born in Grimsby, instead learnt his trade in the reserves while playing nine games on loan at Northwich Victoria and another three at Barrow.
Gateshead had Winn watched in Scunthorpe's 4-2 totesport Central League defeat at Lincoln City in midweek where he scored one the Iron's goals.
"Winn is highly-rated at Scunthorpe and appears to be a player with a bright future in the game," said Gateshead manager Ian Bogie. "His signing further strengthens the squad following the loan signing of Daryl Clare."
