Reprieve for Welling

Welling United have announced that the club`s solicitors, Leathes Prior, have confirmed that the winding up petition presented by HM Revenue & Customs, which was heard in the High Court of Justice on Thursday, has been adjourned.
It has been adjourned for a total of fourteen weeks in order to give the club extra time in which to settle the remaining debt due to HM Revenue & Customs.
The club will continue to pursue all avenues to raise the necessary finance to settle the petition debt within this timescale which will ensure the survival of the club.
