Wilson Gives Triallists Time to Impress
21 July 2010 11:45:00

Blue Square Bet Premier club Eastbourne Borough will wait before making a final decision on whether to offer deals to triallists Will Salmon and Kane Wills.

Former Brighton midfielder Wills and right-back Salmon, who were both with Ebbsfleet United last season, played in the 3-2 victory over the Seagulls last Saturday as well as the 4-0 win against Eastbourne Town.

Boss Garry Wilson said: “You can’t just make a snap decision so we will take a few days before talking to them. They both did okay but it is hard to judge in just 45 minutes. We’ve also go to see where we are with the finances before doing anything.”

Salmon (pictured), 23, started his career at Aldershot before spells with AFC Wimbledon and Ebbsfleet while Wills, 20, left Brighton in 2009 having failed to break into the first-team.
