After a meeting between Tamworth FC and Staffordshire Police on Tuesday morning the football club has taken on board the advice given to them and have made an additional 1350 terrace tickets available to Luton Town supporters.
This is in addition to the 800-plus terrace tickets already allocated in the away end of the ground.
The extra space has been made available by allocating "The Shed" stand to the large travelling away support.
Tamworth directors are aware that this will disrupt a number of our supporters from standing in their favoured positions but for safety reasons it was imperative that the club took this action.
Because of the inconvenience caused the directors of Tamworth Football Club have decided to make the Tamworth v Ebbsfleet United match a 'donation' game - i.e., a donation of your choosing can be made at the turnstile upon entering the ground.
There are also some changes to the way fans can gain entrance to the game v Luton which should be noted - The Cross Street turnstiles (Numbers 7 & 8) will be closed for this game and all Tamworth supporters are requested to use gates 3, 4, 5 and 6 which are located on the main car park while Luton Town supporters will enter by the away fans entrance as usual.
Tamworth FC would like to thank our supporters for their understanding and continued support.
