Blue Square Premier club Tamworth have announced the signing of 24-year-old forward Jerome Murdock who will go straight into the squad for the Blue Square League game against Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.
Murdock trained with the Lambs on Thursday and has had something of a rapid rise after stepping up from Aspire Midland Alliance outfit Coventry Sphinx to join Zamaretto League Division One Midlands side Bedworth United.
He scored goals regularly at the higher level and then followed the previous manager Liam O`Neill to UniBond League Division One South Shepshed Dynmo last month.
Meanwhile, leaving The Lamb is Turkish striker Gokhan Ulker, who was informed that he was being released.
It is expected that he will the former Long Buckby man will sign for Zamaretto Premier Division side Rugby Town – a club a lot closer from the player`s home in Northampton.
