Blue Square Premier club Salisbury City have signed former Eastleigh defender Aaron Martin on a month`s loan from Coca-Cola League One side Southampton.
The 20-year-old, who joined Saints from neighbouring Spitfires in November, has made seven appearances in the reserve side this season where he has turned in some impressive performances.
Martin has displayed a commanding side to his game recently being made captain of the second string.
Martin has been on the periphery of the first-team too, making the bench for the home game against Exeter City on Boxing Day to further his development at Saints.
However, he currently finds himself amongst a vastly experienced pool of defenders in Alan Pardew's squad and will use a loan spell at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium to gain some valuable experience of competitive matches.
His move went through in time for Tuesday night's home league game against Crawley Town where he played the full 90 minutes of a 2-2 draw.
