Blue Square Premier club Salisbury City have followed up the signing of Chris Giles from Crawley Town with the acquisition of attacking midfielder Reece Connolly from Coca-Cola League Two side Aldershot Town, initially on a month`s loan.
Connolly, who celebrated his 18th birthday last week, is an attack-minded youngster who has impressed greatly at Aldershot and has been knocking on the door of their first-team.
Connolly began his career as a schoolboy with Crystal Palace.
After scoring eleven goals in twenty-four youth team appearances for Aldershot, he progressed to their reserves where he scored four goals in fourteen appearances – ten of which were as a sub.
He started a number of Aldershot’s pre-season games and has made one appearance as a sub this term, away at AFC Bournemouth.
