Vital Win for City
02 March 2010 09:26:00

Worcester City earned a vital three points in their quest to avoid relegation from the Blue Square South with victory over Maidenhead United at St George`s Lane on Monday night.

Craig Wilding scored the all-important goal after 33 minutes as City kept their first clean sheet in the league since December 28th in front of a crowd of 501 - their lowest league attendance of the season.

The result means City go above Hampton & Richmond Borough, who visit St George`s Lane on Saturday, into eighteenth place on goal difference but the Londoners have a massive five games in hand.
