Aaron Farrell signed for Blue Square South club Worcester City after having been released earlier in the week by Blue Square Premier neighbours Kidderminster Harriers.
Farrell was released by Harriers` manager Steve Burr after his six-month contract had come to an end.
For Farrell it was a quick return to St George`s Lane after playing in both of Harriers' recent victories over City in the FA Trophy and the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
Farrell was in his second spell at Harriers having originally signed for their youth side in 2003 following a successful time at Boldmere St Michaels in the Midland Floodlit Youth League.
He went on to play for Solihull Borough, Evesham United, Bedworth United, Sutton Coldfield Town, Solihull Borough (again), Halesowen Town, Stratford Town and Sutton Coldfield Town where he scored sixteen goals in thirty-two games in the 2008/09 season.
Mark Yates, then Harriers manager, signed Farrell after he had seen him score five goals in as many games in friendly matches before the start of this season although he didn't score in the City v Harriers game.
Farrell had made nineteen appearances for Harriers before his release.
