Blue Square Premier promotion-chasers Oxford United have signed Aldershot Town striker John Grant on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old scored twenty-five goals when he last played in the Blue Square Premier - helping the Shots to the 2008 title.
Grant, who played at Halifax under U's boss Chris Wilder, has scored three goals in his last six Coca-Cola League Two games.
"Chris Wilder is someone I trust and believe in. He was fantastic with me when I was at Halifax. He is a fantastic guy," said Grant.
The former Crewe, Northwich Victoria, Hereford, Telford United and Shrewsbury forward could make his debut against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Grant has scored in two of his twenty games for the Shots this term, although most of his appearances have been from the bench.
