Oxford United have made striker Francis Green their second loan signing in less than 24 hours, this time from Blue Square Premier rivals Kettering Town.
The 29-year-old former Peterborough United and Lincoln City man has joined the U's with a view to a permanent deal.
Oxford manager Chris Wilder said: "He has played a major part in Kettering's excellent start to the season and adds versatility."
Green could make his U's debut on Tuesday against Forest Green Rovers alongside fellow new boy Onome Sodje.
The Poppies only signed Green in July after his release by Macclesfield and he has scored four goals this season.
