Blue Square Premier promotion-chasers Oxford United have completed the permanent signing of striker Francis Green from league rivals Kettering Town.
The 29-year-old had technically been `on loan` with both clubs having agreed in November that the loan would be converted into long-term deal.
"I came here looking to make things permanent and I am delighted that it's happened," said Green.
"There's a great bunch of lads here and I hope I can contribute to a very successful second half of the season."
Former Peterborough man Green joined Kettering in July after his release by Coca-Cola League Two side Macclesfield Town.
Meanwhile, fellow loanees Ross Perry and Onome Sodje have now returned to their parent clubs.
"Ross has been a bit unfortunate because he's possibly not played as much as he would have liked," said United manager Chris Wilder.
"Sodje made the decision to go back himself. We were looking to extend it for a month and he's decided to go back to Barnsley to try and force his way into their first team. They've both contributed, both been good lads to have in around the club and we wish them all the best."
