Blue Square North club Ilkeston Town have signed former Mansfield Town midfielder Callum Lloyd.
Lloyd is a versatile player who made his full debut for Mansfield in March 2005 against Bristol Rovers - and scored on his debut. He added three more goals before the end of the season.
The 2005/06 season was something of a disappointment for him as he spent more time on the bench than the pitch and also spent a month on loan at Alfreton Town. Despite this, he was offered a contract extension in 2006, but was released from his contract in May 2007.
A month later Lloyd was announced as Mark Cooper's second signing at Kettering Town and then in October 2007 he spent a month with fellow Blue Square North side Hinckley United before making the switch to Leicestershire permament.
He left the Knitters at the end of the 2008/09 season after seventy-five appearances, and joined the sadly now defunct King`s Lynn.
Meanwhile, Ilkeston manager Kevin Wilson confirmed that Jermaine Palmer and Rory Prendergast have both been released by the club.
