Chris Willcock has formally handed in his resignation as manager of UniBond League Division One North club Mossley with immediate effect.
Willcock has been offered the number two spot at Blue Square North outfit Stalybridge Celtic by caretaker-manager Benny Phillips and feels it is an opportunity that he cannot turn down.
He leaves with the sincere thanks and best wishes of Mossley`s committee for all of the hard work he has put in both on and off the pitch over the past two seasons. It is well known that he has gone above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions.
Willcock did not take the decision lightly, but feels that it is a good move to further his ambitions in the game.
