Blue Square South club Weston-super-Mare have signed Josh Ford, a tall defender or midfielder player who has represented Bristol City, Queens Park Rangers, Rushden & Diamonds, Forest Green Rovers and Tiverton Town.
Ford started his footballing career as a scholar with Bristol City before moving to QPR in November 2006 and joining the academy where he made nine starts for the reserves.
Ford signed a pro deal in the summer of 2008 and went on loan to Swansea City and Mangotsfield United before leaving Loftus Road by mutual consent in January 2009.
Diamonds signed the then 18-year-old in April 2009 while he was a free agent.
He moved again in October 2009 when Forest Green manager Dave Hockaday signed the young defender.
But two months later moved to Tiverton while also having trials at Torquay United.
Another Torquay player, Ben Joyce (pictured), who has already had one spell with Weston, will again be joining the Seagulls until the end of the season.
